1 Week, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM Basic Keelboat Course for 14 -17 year olds Your camper will be enrolled in the U.S. Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification course-the industry’s best-taught by our certified instructors. This camp incorporates the following activities: boat orientation and safety overview, on-the-water sailing instruction, classroom material discussions, and test review. At the end of camp, campers will walk away with a solid understanding of sailing. Upon successful completion of the on the water practical test and the written test, campers will receive U.S. Basic Keelboat certification! Sailing experience required.

BJR is part of the USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival, a series of regional youth regattas that capture the Olympic spirit and brings together youth sailors for fun, exciting sailing. BJR runs annually in August at the end of the BYC Junior Sailing Program schedule. It draws hundreds of young sailors who swarm Buzzards Bay in Optis, ICLAs, and 420s. We hope you can join us on the water on August 8th & 9th, 2026. Open to Opti, Laser, and C420 (spin and non-spin) junior sailors.

Fall CORK and ILCA Olympic Classes Regatta, brings sailors back to Kingston for one final weekend of competition. With steady winds and crisp autumn conditions, athletes test their skills and endurance in pursuit of a strong finish to the year. It’s the perfect close to another incredible CORK season.

Each year, Edison Sailing Center is proud to host River Romp, a US Sailing Junior Olympic Regatta that brings together young sailors from across the region for an unforgettable weekend of competition, camaraderie, and river sailing. Set on the Caloosahatchee River, River Romp challenges sailors to test their skills in a dynamic racing environment while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and growth. As an official Junior Olympic regatta, the event provides sailors with the opportunity to compete at a high level, gain valuable racing experience, and connect with the broader US Sailing community. Hosting River Romp reflects Edison Sailing Center's commitment to youth development, excellence on the water, and creating meaningful opportunities for young sailors to learn, compete, and thrive.
