One Day In-Person Umpire Seminar
This One Day Match Race Umpire seminar is appropriate for those interested in becoming certified umpires or certified umpires who are up for renewal.
The Seminar will be held at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, 3811 Point Grey Rd, Vancouver, BC.
The Instructor for this seminar is David Pyron.
This is a match racing focused umpire seminar to be held in conjunction with a college match race.
The seminar consists of One In-Person session
Thursday, February 20, 2025. 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Attendance is required to complete and pass this course. The lead instructor will email you with course information, including directions for course pre-work. Students should be familiar with the World Sailing Match Race Umpire Manual, available at the following link.

US Sailing Course Registration fee is $40 payable to US Sailing. A discounted US Sailing special introductory membership is available for first-timers during the registration process. Members of Sail Canada who are not members of US Sailing are welcome to register for this seminar.
