One Day In-Person Umpire Seminar
This One Day Team Race Umpire Seminar is appropriate for those interested in becoming certified umpires. It is in conjunction with the Opti Team Race Midwinters.
The Seminar will be held at Key Biscayne Yacht Club, 180 Harbor Dr, Key Biscayne, FL.
The Instructor for this seminar is Peter Wilson.
The seminar consists of One In-Person session
Friday, January 15, 2027 - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Attendance is required to complete and pass this course. This is a Basic Umpire Seminar; it is not a rules seminar. Participants should know the rules ahead of time. The Racing Rules of Sailing, Case Book and Umpire's Manual should be reviewed ahead of time. Testing and assessments will be available. Links to these documents are below:

US Sailing Seminar Registration fee is $40 payable to US Sailing. A discounted US Sailing special introductory membership is available for first-timers during the registration process.
The Regional Umpire and National Umpire tests will be available to take following this seminar. Peter Wilson will proctor.
