ONLINE ADVANCED RACE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR (ARMS)
Instructors are Matthew Hill (NRO, RJ) Lead, Becky Ashburn (IRO), Jeff Johnson (IRO), Cynthia Parthemos (RRO) and Hank Stuart (IRO).
This Online ARMS consists of multiple Zoom sessions.
The ARMS is intended for Certified Race Officers who need to recertify in 2025. It fulfills the seminar requirement for Advanced certification and recertification. Students will have the opportunity to take the Advanced Race Officer Test following the final session. You will have three weeks to complete it.
Schedule and Course Prep
The seminar will consist of a short Introductory Zoom session followed by four more Zoom sessions. Attendance in ALL 5 sessions is required to complete and pass the course.
Introductory Session: Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 1930-2030 (E) / 1630-1730 (P)
Session1: Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 1830-2130 (E) / 1530-1830 (P)
Session 2: (Round Table) Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 1830-2130 (E) / 1530-1830 (P)
Session 3 Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 1830-2130 (E) / 1530-1830 (P)
Session 4 (Round Table) Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1830-2130 (E) / 1530-1830 (P)
There is pre-course work to be completed before Session 1. It is estimated to require 7 to 10 hours to complete. The requirements and timeline will be thoroughly explained at the intro session. The course is designed to build on lessons learned in these pre-course modules, but they may be accessed, reviewed, or worked on up until the class close date. Timely efforts will produce best results.
