US SAILING Contact: James Schultz Instructors: Cynthia Parthemos ONLINE ADVANCED RACE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR (ARMS) hosted by Westhampton Yacht Squadron. Instructor is Cynthia Parthemos. The ARMS is intended for Certified Race Officers who need to recertify or would like to move up a level. It fulfills the seminar requirement for Advanced certification and recertification. Students will have the opportunity to take the Advanced Race Officer Test following the final session. You will have three weeks to complete it. Schedule This Online ARMS consists of multiple Zoom sessions, a short Introductory Zoom session followed by four more Zoom sessions. Attendance in all 5 sessions is required to complete and pass the course. Session 1: Introduction - Monday, April 28, 2025, 7:00 to 8:00 pm eastern, Zoom online. Session 2: Monday, May 5, 2025, 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Session 3: Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Session 4: Monday, May 12, 2025, 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Session 5: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 7:00 to 9:30 pm. There is pre-course work to be completed before Session 1. It is estimated to require 7 to 10 hours to complete.
