This 16-hour, 2 day class combining classroom and on the water practical experience for anyone who wants to learn how to safely operate a small motorboat and improve their boat handling skills and confidence. No previous experience is required! The US Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) have approved this course and an increasing number of states have recognized it as meeting their requirements for a State Boating Education Certificate. This course also includes the RI or Ma state specific test. Minimum 4 students to conduct class. No more than 4 per boat for maximum individual practice. This 16-hour hands-on, on-the-water course is for anyone who wants to learn how to safely operate a small motorboat and improve their boat handling skills. No previous experience is required! The US Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) have approved this course and an increasing number of states have recognized it as meeting their requirements for a State Boating Education Certificate.
These national and state approvals call for the course to include a total of six to eight hours of classroom sessions covering required education topics.

This 2-day, hands-on course is designed for anyone who wants to work as a launch driver at marinas, yacht clubs, waterfront centers and camps. As part of this course you will earn a certificate in lieu of an exam at the United States Coast Guard so that you may apply for a US Coast Guard License for Limited Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels or Master of Self Propelled Vessels engaged in launch tender service upon inland waters (not more than ½ nautical mile from shore). In addition you will earn a US Powerboating Safe Powerboat Handling Certification and a New York State equivalent Boating Safety Certificate.

No previous experience is required! The US Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) have approved this course and an increasing number of states have recognized it as meeting their requirements for a State Boating Education Certificate. This course also includes the RI or Ma state specific test. Minimum 4 students to conduct class. No more than 4 per boat for maximum individual practice. The class focuses on the technical and risk management skills necessary to explore unfamiliar waters. You'll learn how to plan, prepare, and execute a multi-day cruising expedition. If you are looking to charter a boat in a foreign country for your next vacation, then this is the class for you. This 20-hour course takes place on our CYA cruising yacht.

This 2-day, hands-on course is designed for anyone who wants to work as a launch driver at marinas, yacht clubs, waterfront centers and camps. As part of this course you will earn a certificate in lieu of an exam at the United States Coast Guard so that you may apply for a US Coast Guard License for Limited Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels or Master of Self Propelled Vessels engaged in launch tender service upon inland waters (not more than ½ nautical mile from shore). In addition you will earn a US Powerboating Safe Powerboat Handling Certification and a New York State equivalent Boating Safety Certificate.
